Kathy's Story
Life
Well a lot has happened in my life since 1982. Got married, had my first daughter, moved to Florida, had two more daughters, moved back to Wisconsin, got divorced, and have lived happily ever after. Started college in Florida and finished at MATC with my Associates degree in Paralegal. That wasn't enough, went to Alverno for my B.A. in Communication, Management and Technology. Now transformed my life in running a limousine company in the Milwaukee area and I am a fitness instructor, currently at the SW YMCA, teaching weight lifting and cycling! Recently moved to Oak Creek just to change my life a bit and love it! Hope you all have a wonderful day :)
School
I loved school and everything and everyone I came across. It seems funny to be in the West Allis School district with my own children and to bump into some of you who I went to school with. Life is so fun - enjoy.
College
My college days were as an adult ...Expand for more
when I was rearing my children so I didn't get to enjoy all the fun that some of you had. Although I still had fun and while I was at Alverno I was able to start an organization and it is still going strong and that is what matters - making a difference.
Workplace
Started out working at Security Savings and Loan which is no longer here (man does that make me feel old). Going from here and there and finally had enough of others telling me what to do, I put together a business, a limousine company, and found two investors and after 1 1/4 years at it, still working it and hoping that it blossoms. While this is my main focus in life I have also changed my days of laying on the couch to being a fitness freak. I work part-time at the YMCA teaching others on weight lifting and cycling (or spinning) and have a great time doing so.
Military
While I have never been in the military I am very thankful to those that have served.
